Jamie Bogart - Head Coach (2nd year)
Head Coach Jamie Bogart is in his second full year with the Comstock Park soccer program. This Spring coach Bogart enters the beginning of his 14th overall year as a High School Soccer Coach. For the 8 years prior to coming to Comstock Park, coach Bogart was at Forest Hills Northern High School where he spent 8 years with both the boy's and girl's programs. Coach Bogart spent three seasons as the boys varsity head coach at FHN from 2006-2008 before taking a step back to coach the boys JV from 2009-2012. Coach Bogart spent 2006 on the varsity girl's sideline as an assistant coach before taking over as head coach in 2007. Before begining to coach at FHN in 2006, Coach Bogart spent four years at Cedar Springs High School where he was the Varsity Boys coach for three seasons and the JV Boys coach for one season and also assisted with the Varsity Girls program for three seasons. Coach Bogart also spent one season as an assistant coach with the JV girls at Grand Rapids Northview High School.
While a Head coach at Forest Hills Northern, Coach Bogart compiled a 113-31-12 record as the head girls coach and a record of 29 wins, 29 losses and 3 ties as the boys head coach. Under coach Bogart, the FHN girls program won four MHSAA Division 2 District Championships a Regional Championship and was the Division 2 state runners up in 2010. Coach Bogart was also named a Michigan High School Soccer Coaches Association District Coach of the year in 2007,2009 & 2010 and was also named a 2010 Regional Coach of the year. In 2010, Coach Bogart was selected by his peers as the Division 2 Public School Coach of the Year and was nominated by the Michigan High School Soccer Coaches Association to represent Michigan with the Small School National Coach of the Year Nomination.
During his head coaching career, Coach Bogart has coached 63 first team all-conference selections and 22 all-conference honorable mention selections. Coach Bogart has also coached 27 all-state team selections including 1 MHSSCA Dream Team and NSCAA Regional All-American selection and has sent 29 players on to play in college. Coach Bogart has also coached one NSCAA Academic All-American.
Away from Comstock Park, Coach Bogart has organized and ran successfully the Coaches vs. Cancer Soccer Classic and High School Showcase events in which he has helped raise over thirty thousand dollars for the American Cancer Society.
Coach Bogart currently resides in Grand Rapids Michigan and works for Rockford Public Schools through Special Services as a Para-professional. Coach Bogart also own's and opperates Higher Ground Soccer Training.
